Comments: This series of flutes was commissioned by Paul Rabinov and Catherine Thompson (as the American Flute Guild), to be made by Emerson Deford in Elkhart Indiana, the headjoints to be finished by Paul Rabinov here in Los Angeles. The embouchure cut is intended to give a bit of the resistance and tone of the great French flutes, yet also the ease of playing of a modern instrument.

Material: Made of sterling silver.

System: Made in Elkhart IN by Emerson Deford, embouchure cut by Paul Rabino. French model with offset G, B foot with gizmo. Fancy rings. Drawn tone holes.

Condition: New.

Pitch: A=440.

Case: In original wooden case.
